HABITAT.
A downloadable game
Earth is dead.
In the wake of catastrophe, humanity made a valiant last-ditch effort to preserve life by dispatching three hundred colony ships to the far reaches of space.
You are one of those ships.
Upon reaching your destination - one of three hundred potentially Earth-like planets - you will transform into a temporary Habitat, equipped with everything your passengers need to support life while establishing themselves on a new planet.
In your lifetime, you will see generations rise and fall within the safe confines of your hull. You will help them navigate alien terrain as they struggle for survival against all odds. And someday, if all goes according to plan, your children will salvage your remains to build their new home.
Habitat is a solo journaling game, designed to be played alone with nothing more than a pen and paper (and an optional ambient music soundtrack). Open-ended writing prompts will guide you through the story of your Habitat and passengers.
